location Zaragoza
function pavilion
contributed by gonzalezdioslydia

The fundamental concept of the Spain Pavilion arises from the idea of reproducing a forest or a bamboo grove over water. From this base concept, a structure arose that, one the one hand, comprises a powerful building design mechanism with the potential to bring about new possibilities from an environmental and energy saving point of view, while on the other hand, is a very attractive and well-lit space. These are transitional spaces, full of suggestion and nuances, where concepts such as verticality and depth play an essential role.
