After many years of succesful teaching, painter Francisca Zamorano decided to rent and restore her own place. After clearing the area, an impressive 4m high space was revealed, crossed by delicate, ancient, concrete beams. To preserve this spatial quality, air conducts were kept along the left wall, and covered by fully-removable 'deployè' metal frames, which were painted afterwards. This, together with the use of fixed furniture, a continuous floor and lighting, has had this typically neoplastic space as a result. Despite its simplicity and definition in form, its program is left more open, undefined and flexible.
