Disentis Cloister Stable Block

Following the destruction of the old stable blocks by fire, Gion A. Caminada has been commissioned by the Cloister of Disentis to build new farming facilities. The project is scheduled for completion in 2010, with an educational facility and farm-shop for passing visitors. The highlight of the development is the long deck which allows visitors to walk above the cow shed. In the future, a cheese making building is also proposed on the site.
