To emphasize the strong slope, this school and community centre in Mastrils is situated at a right angle to the topography. The levels are shifted with every floor. Inside and outside the building, cascade-like staircases follow the slope. This structure allows the building to house a school, a kindergarten, a multi-purpose hall, an apartment and the municipal administration (text from website architects).
