Museum of Glass
It's fitting that Museum of Glass is situated in the hometown of one of the world's most famous glass artists, Dale Chihuly. In fact, a pedestrian bridge, connecting the museum to downtown is called the Chihuly Bridge and features many of the artist's works. Towering over the building is a 90-foot cone made of diamond shaped stainless steel plates. Inside, visitors can witness glassmaking as a spectator sport in the Hot Shop Amphitheater. Often, one can see artists creating exhibits that will appear in the museum a few months later. The rest of the museum is fairly small, but has an excellent collection.
