MIPIM future projects award, enter now!

The MIPIM Architectural Review Future Projects Awards are for unbuilt or incomplete projects spanning across eight categories. The awards have been running since 2002 and take place at MIPIM, the international property market, which will attract over 20,000 delegates to Cannes between 16-19 March, 2010.

Entry deadline is Friday 20 November.

Sofia Architecture Week 2009

Sofia Architecture Week in Bulgaria is an international architecture event, and will take place for a second consecutive year from October 30 to November 5, 2009 and will try to provoke a new type of thinking and appreciation of architecture in Bulgaria and the Balkans.

Launched in September 2008 as a two-day conference, this year Sofia Architecture Week opens up for the general public to involve not only the professional architecture community, but also all interested in the process of changing urban realities.

Symposium architectuur 2.0

Friday 30 of October 2009 the Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAi) is organizing a one-day symposium in theatre De Doelen in Rotterdam.
The symposium, carrying theme "Architecture of Consequence", will feature lectures by: Kees Christiaanse, Felix Claus, Michiel Cohen, Erick van Egeraat, Adriaan Geuze, Anne Lacaton and Bjarne Mastenbroek. Nex to that special contributions will be provided by Wubbo Ockels and Winy Maas.
