MIMOA newsletter #9

MIMOA at MACE Conference

MACE is organising an international conference on Online Repositories in Architecture. It will be held in Venice on 12-13 September 2008, during the period of La Biennale di Architettura 2008. MIMOA is invited to join the debates. If you happen to visit the Biennale, you can visit the conference.
MACE (Metadata for Architectural Contents in Europe), is a European project co-funded by the European Commission, that is interlinking architectural repositories in order to create innovative e-learning tools that can help expert users and laypeople to find, tag, acquire, use, and discuss contents from many architectural databases that previously had limited accessibility.
For anyone interested in visiting the presentations, you can find more information here.

Tips and Tricks: locate your project on the map

pinpoint on the mapEverybody can publish projects on MIMOA. We've set up a complete and easy-to-use interactive upload form to help you get your most favourite, last built, and just visited new projects published online. You can even save your work and come back later to finish the upload form, so there is no need to prepare days in advance, just start now.

Last week we’ve integrated a new feature on our interactive upload form: now you can find the location of your project on the map and drag the marker to the exact spot. How? Read all about it here >>
