The Paleisbrug (Palace bridge) is a pedestrian and bicycle bridge and an elevated park. It is designed to connect the old city centre and the new Palace district (Paleiskwartier) of 's Hertogenbosch. The 250 meter long Paleisbrug, made of weathering steel, contains bicycle and pedestrian lanes and green areas with benches and lighting. The bridge has integrated lighting, floor heating (to prevent the surface from freezing), free internet and a bicycle elevator. Piet Oudolf designed the planting scheme.
