Located in the entertainment district of Eindhoven, the residential building Caverna lies with his back against the backside of the bars in the Stratumseind. The ragged and messy wall had been in sight for several years, but with the redevelopment of the Smalle Haven this rest area is included and improved. Because of noise from neighbouring bars, the houses in this plan are very introverted designed. The five studio apartments and 8 apartments all have patios or internal lights, allowing light to penetrate deep into the house. By using deel incisions and external projecting windows the stubborn block of black brickwork is sufficiently affected and interrupted.
