Yes to an open block which allows for: 1.sunlight and clarity through open spaces; 2. structures of various sizes and heights; 3. interior and exterior perspectives with allow for crossed views that are different and changing. 4. diagonals which dance with the light permitting a variety of approaches and quiet areas. Instead of a uniform and monotonous corridor, poorly lit and with little ventilation, the architect proposes, by removing and substituting the usual contiguous habitable structures, to widen the corridors and leave some of the buildings free standing in order to offer greater diversity, more light and better views.
